Montréal-Trudeau International Airport, YUL, is an international airport serving Montréal and is conveniently located 20 km west of downtown Montréal, only 20 minutes away from 16000 downtown hotel rooms and the Palais des Congrès of Montréal. Some 37 airline companies operate regular or seasonal flights out of Montréal-Trudeau. There are direct flights from Montréal-Trudeau to more than 150 destinations including 91 international, 28 U.S. and 31 domestic.

Ground Transportation from/to Airport
The 747-Express bus, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, offers a direct link by two routes without transfer. At the airport on the arrivals level, the 747 bus stop is located a few meters from the exit at door 28. For the long route, the bus provides a direct line between the airport and downtown Montréal, where it stops at a several locations including the Berri UQAM métro station and the terminal is the Gare d’Autocars de Montréal (see map).  The short route to the Lionel-Groulx métro station takes approximately 25-35 minutes where you can transfer to the métro green and orange lines.  On the orange line, the Place d’Armes Métro station is the closest to the Palais des congrès de Montréal.

For travel to the Airport, passenger pickup is made from eleven stops strategically located downtown and close to main hotels and tourist attractions.

The 747-Express bus route is operated at a cost of 11 Can$.

Taxi
It is possible to get a taxi at the arrivals level near the central exit located in front of the cloakroom, where a dispatcher will assist you. No reservation is required. All taxi operators working out of YUL Montréal-Trudeau International Airport are required to have a permit and to comply with its terms and conditions
Taxis charge a flat rate of 49.45 Can$ (56.70 Can$ between 23h and 5h) from the airport to downtown.

Getting to the Palais des congrès de Montréal
The Palais des congrès de Montréal is centrally located in downtown Montréal and the main entrance is at 1001 Place Jean-Paul-Riopelle with also several entrances from bordering streets. The Place-d’Armes métro station is integrated in the Palais and city buses can take you right to the Palais’ front door. The Société de transport de Montréal (STM) operates métro and bus services in Montréal.

Underground Montréal network
The underground pedestrian network below the streets of downtown Montréal covers 33 km of passageways that connect the subway system with hotels, shops, museums, universities and the Palais des Congrès.
